wordy entry

pardon me if it's not a food-related post. well u're probably sick of the food ? yes no? oh wait, do people still even come here ??

well, time has passed by so fast. I'm already in sydney for 3 and a 1/2 months. and it moved so fast that I didn't realise that i've already learnt alot in the past 3 months or so. The information keeps going into my head, absorbing stuffs when chef A or B talks, and looking at more cooking books..( I have no freaking idea how heavy all these books are now.. I came to sydney with just 3 books.. NOW.. I have ... em.... 7 ? 8 ?.9?. =P) Seriously, I didn't know that in a couple of months , I know how to make .. well.. almost perfect creme patisserie..temper chocolates, make truffles, make good sponges, produce breads and croissants.. and make PUFF and so on.. I miss everyone at home but well, I gotta finish what I do here first before I could go back and 'wow' everyone. HAHA (everyone means my family and friends)

But well, right now, I really wanna learn Japanese so I could really go Japan and do some training there after I graduate. the japanese pastry chefs are really ... really fantastic. adapting the french technique and infuse them with the japanese techniques or rather, creativity and create a new "something" I think I've probably mentioned this before, cause right now as I'm typing it, I'm sorta recalling it. haha

On a total irrelevant topic, ok still about pastry anyway..
I heard someone saying this

"oh, i'm still a cuisine person.. like you know.. the real chef.. not pastry chefs.. the REAL chef"

I was quite pissed off.. Ok fine, you can stick you ass to cuisine if you like it so much, but you dont have to despise it like as if, it doesn't matter...

So.. pastry chefs aren't REAL PEOPLE !??!! holy cow.. maybe we're gods! in disguise

and.. i'm really starting to be pissed by some people in my class. I don't wanna mention who since people google my name (yes...). So... let's just not talk about it...or rather... ok.. maybe not. I don't wanna be blacklisted, maybe I AM already =P

xoxo
